What's Changed

  • LiveTagger has been rewritten in Rust, and now uses the official Adobe toolkit for modifying XMP files. This should reduce the risk of accidentally breaking metadata. As a neat side effect, it seems to have increased performance noticably, too :)
  • Breaking change: LiveTagger no longer creates backups by default. You can pass the new --backup/-b flag to enable them again.
  • LiveTagger now correctly updates the creation tool/date metadata on XMP files, in line with how newer versions of Ableton do.
