Mangatan v1.0.8-beta updates the app to the latest Mangayomi base while preserving Mangatan's language-learning, reader, OCR, mining, and sync features.

Highlights

  • Updated Mangatan to the latest Mangayomi foundation while retaining the custom dictionary, OCR, EPUB, Anki mining, reader, and Chimahon-compatible sync functionality.
  • Added Android TV discovery, D-pad navigation, TV-specific player controls and settings, packaging assets, and TV usability fixes.
  • Added optimized tiled/subsampled manga image rendering while preserving border cropping and OCR caching.
  • Added custom DNS-over-HTTPS endpoints and Cloudflare bypass proxy support.
  • Added persistent library-update error reporting and recovery tools.
  • Preserved and expanded desktop sync support, including WebDAV, Google Drive, SyncYomi, and Chimahon-compatible metadata handling.
