As cronjob are run as worker user, it can be helpful to have pre-start scripts run as root before spawning the cron daemon. Those can by default be placed in the /entrypoint.pre.d folder. This folder can be customized via the CRON_ENTRYPOINT_PRE_DIR environment variable.
