Experimental MCP server for Google & YouTube search using real browser cookies — no API keys.

Install (Windows)

  1. Download TrueSearchMCP-1.0.0.zip below
  2. Extract it
  3. Run install.bat inside the extracted TrueSearchMCP folder
  4. Open a new terminal and type tsmcp

install.bat works from this ZIP (pre-built) and also from a raw source checkout (it builds automatically; requires Node.js 18+).

Uninstall: run uninstall.bat from the release folder.

Contents

  • Interactive menu, CLI, and MCP server (8 tools: Google/YouTube search, cookie extraction, harness install)
  • Auto-detects 9 agent harnesses (Claude Desktop/Code, Hermes, OpenCode, Cline, Cursor, Goose, Zed, Windsurf)
  • System proxy support, live update check

Status

Experimental / unstable — HTML scraping breaks when sites change. See README for details.
