Offline voice dictation for Windows 10+ (x64) - prerelease build.

Install

  1. Download the WinLocalASR-Setup-*-x64.exe installer below.
  2. The binary is not code-signed; SmartScreen may warn - click More info -> Run anyway.
  3. First launch runs a guided setup that downloads the speech model (~2.5 GB; a mirror fallback covers China networks).
  4. Grant microphone permission when prompted.

Portable alternative: the WinLocalASR-*-portable-win-x64.zip - extract anywhere and run WinLocalASR.bat.

Build source: a10f1566852a628b85ea179d9407c42818e4ca02 (workflow run 35204079952); the real-inference smoke job is green on this exact SHA.

Promoting out of prerelease happens after the reference test machine (Win11 x64) acceptance pass.
