Closes #2.

Summary

  • Add the M3Y-W USB-CDC setup QR code from the included user guide.
  • Move the serial setup notes into a shared USB Serial Setup section.
  • Document that M3Y-W starts in USB HID keyboard mode and must be switched to USB-CDC before this serial tool can see it.

Verification

  • Checked all README image references resolve locally.
  • Verified the new M3Y USB-CDC PNG is readable at 280x280.
  • Ran python3 -m py_compile serial-reader.py.

Not tested

  • Physical M3Y-W scanner reconfiguration.

The M3Y-W defaults to USB HID keyboard mode, so users trying this serial tool do not get a usable serial device until they scan the USB-CDC setup code. The README already documented the GM65 virtual serial setup, so this adds the equivalent M3Y-W setup path and vendors the QR asset from the included user guide.

Constraint: Issue 3rdIteration#2 reports the M3Y-W needs USB-CDC enabled before this tool works over serial

Rejected: Changing scanner defaults in code | the scanner must be reconfigured by scanning a setup code before the host sees a serial device

Confidence: high

Scope-risk: narrow

Tested: README image references exist; M3Y USB-CDC PNG is readable at 280x280; python3 -m py_compile serial-reader.py

Not-tested: Physical M3Y-W scanner reconfiguration
