1.0.0
First public release of the self-hosted server for the Editor Collaboration plugin.
The plugin runs inside Unreal Engine. This repository is only the server each teammate connects to: one executable, SQLite included, no other install. One process can host several projects, each in its own room. The source is MIT.
What it does
Relays presence, chat, pinned comments, and which assets someone changed. Presence stays in memory. Chat history and comments are stored in the data directory.
The server and the plugin must use the same protocol. This release speaks protocol 5. Check protocolVersion on http://<server>:7878/health after you start it.
Run it
Clone this repository and build with ./build.ps1 (Windows) or ./build.sh (Linux, Mac). Go or Docker is enough. Binaries land in dist/:
