First public source release of Mango on main.

reclaim your TV. Stream movies, shows, YouTube, and live television on a Raspberry Pi 5 you own — not five apps. Across sources, in one place. Mango adds no ads of its own. You bring the hardware, accounts, and media rights.

Prerequisites

Raspberry Pi 5, Raspberry Pi OS Desktop, X11, Chromium, mpv, Node.js 20+, and an 8BitDo-class D-pad. See docs/INSTALL.md.

Limitations

This is a self-hosted public alpha, not a retail appliance. Native HDR, no-SSH first boot, intentional display sleep, and whole-product couch sign-off remain open. This tag does not claim exact-tag Pi or couch proof. Current evidence: docs/STATUS.md.
