Tables
The Tables module is without a doubt the most dynamic of the pre-loaded modules. When configured properly, it can be used to take any Database table ("content type") and display in a way optimized for that information. The most simple example would be a table of static web pages, containing content, and possibly a title. However, you can also do things such as list upcoming events (along with their locations, stored in a separate table).
Presently, the Tables Module allows you to display any field from the selected table, along with any field in a table your current table has a foreign key for. For example, let's assume three tables, Concerts, Artists, and Venues. Among other columns, Concerts has column Venue_ID, which is a FOREIGN KEY on Venues(ID), as well as a column Artist_ID, a FOREIGN KEY on Artists(ID). These foreign key allows you to display any relevant information regarding the artist and venue for an event, such as a biography of the artist along with a picture of the concert venue.
