What FlowShift is
A portrait-mode 3D arcade game for Android. Your Flow Core moves forward on its
own through a floating neon world. Every obstacle is a glowing outline whose
silhouette tells you which of five forms you must become to pass through it.
Read the shape, shift, fit — the closer to the gate you commit, the bigger the
reward.
Shape is your only move.

Highlights
Five forms — Ball for round gates, Cube for square openings, Disc for low
gaps, Pillar for narrow vertical slots, Bridge to span breaks in the track.
30 levels across five environments, plus an endless mode that unlocks after
ten levels.
Precision scoring — commit close to the gate for a Perfect Fit, chain them,
and step your multiplier up to ×6.
Everything is original — all 30 3D models are generated procedurally by a
Blender script in this repository, and all 24 sounds are synthesised from
scratch by another. No third-party art or audio.
Plays entirely offline. The release build declares no Android permissions
at all — not even INTERNET, so the platform prevents it from making network
requests. No advertising, analytics or crash-reporting SDK is in the build, and
progress is saved only on your device.

Full measured evidence:
release_verification.md
Read this before installing. The release build has not been launched on a
physical device. R8 and resource shrinking are newly enabled, and Android back
navigation now pauses a run rather than exiting it — both are runtime changes
the unit suite cannot cover. Archive inspection confirms all 30 models, all 24
sounds and the adaptive icon survived shrinking, but first launch on real
hardware is the definitive check.
Google Play
FlowShift is not published on Google Play. These artifacts are the ones
prepared for upload. The remaining work — device smoke test, feature graphic,
screenshots, content rating, Data Safety form, and the 12-tester/14-day closed
test required for personal developer accounts — is tracked in
play_store_submission_checklist.md.
Known limitations
Stated plainly in
known_limitations.md.
Most relevant here:
- Frame rate measured on an emulator (~47 fps, rasterisation-bound) but not on
physical hardware, so no 60 fps claim is made. - Integration tests are not written.
- All five environments draw from one shared maze kit — they differ in colour,
lighting and layout, but not yet in the vocabulary of shapes.
