@6Bolt 6Bolt released this 26 Apr 22:34

Did some small changes to the program.

  1. The -n option now enables logging. For example: 'LGTCPTester.exe -n gameXLog.txt' is all that is needed. In v1.0, the '-l' would be needed, but not for v1.1.

  2. Update the info in '-h' to reflect the change above. Also added 'CNTRL-C' to stop the program. Added verion number.

This program is a small C++ command line program that display, and can log the Output Signals from arcade emulators & their tool programs.

@6Bolt 6Bolt released this 24 Apr 02:44

First Release of the LGTCPTester command line program. This connects to the TCP Socket on localhost (IP 127.0.0.1) on Port 8000. This is the network connection that most, if not all, arcade emulators & tools use. It reads the output signals from the TCP Port and displays it to the screen. It can also be log to a file, using the '-l' option. To change the log file name, can use the '-n' option. The default log file is log.txt. An example to log, and change log file name is, LGTCPTester.exe -l -n gameX.txt. To exit the program, use CNTRL-C. To show the help, use the '-h' option.

If you need the Qt6 DLLs, I zipped the program and Qt6Core.dll and Qt6Network.dll into the LGTCPTester_DLLs.zip. If you don't have Qt installed, then you probably need the DLLs.
