Refactored the code a lot, G-Force fix and Aero drag addition.

  • Fixed G-Force heading. It was totally wrong earlier... Thanks for the https://github.com/PHARTGAMES/SpaceMonkey showing the math
  • Added drag data
  • Refactored the code a lot, so it's using more lists and enums. Still stuff to be improved, but it's on a working and enough good state for now.
  • There are a lot of extra options in the 4wheels etc., but not all of them are configured right. But you can of course use them and manually set limits etc.
  • This release might not work (at least not fully configured right for) with https://github.com/6St6Jimmy6/Log-File-Reader-and-Plotter

limiters

The below text and pics aren't up to date but there are still those same things.

Some old text and showing:

  • You can monitor all the four wheels from the "Open Four Wheels Page". Change what is on X and Y axis from the Settings of that page.
  • There's "Z-axis" gradient coloring with min and max values and you can choose which recorded value is it (default is vertical load).
  • You can also make all values absolutes, so positives only. Very handy when recording data when it doesn't matter if it's negative or positive value.

Selectable limiters for 4 wheels page and aero drag added

Choose a tag to compare

  • Added None option for the axis, so can debug like suspension length only. (it wasn't in the original commit)
  • Added Aero Drag total (it wasn't in the original commit)
  • Added 3 selectable limiters that you can use and also no tire contact limiter. Either limit the already selected axis data or limit the recording with other 3 things.
  • Added icon for the .exe

4 wheels chart improvements

Choose a tag to compare

@6St6Jimmy6 6St6Jimmy6 released this 08 Apr 22:04

Minor update:

  • Cleaned the code a bit and removed "unlimited history" option, because it was pretty horrible anyways.
  • 4 Wheels chart is now just a one chart that you can make all wheels in one, split into front/rear or all tires separated.

Hotfix settings and multiple forms opening

There was an issue with the last build, so fixed those. Nothing else really changed other than some ground up for some future changes that aren't yet used.

The same things still apply from previous release:

  • G-Force graph is now tunable and resizable.
  • Textbox updates in the main page can be toggled off to save some resources if you don't need them.
  • Some code moving out of the forms to the separate classes.

NOTE: Infinite History runs for infinity until you clear the chart, so remember to do that if you run the G-Force graph for longer times. There's nothing preventing it going crazy if you for some reason let it :P

This picture isn't up to date but gives you the idea. You just can't multi color the polar graph.
nice maybe

G-Force flickering reduced and tick time is now represented right.

Choose a tag to compare

  • Reduced G-Force graph flickering by making the graph as a background image and only drawing the points on it.
  • Tick time is now showing intervals between Race Time reads, which is in line how the data is actually written in the log file and what's the actual interval between each update.
