New update:
Plex — link with plex.tv/link (PIN or QR, no manual token). Every server
on your account, owned and shared. One Continue Watching row merged across all
of them, and search that hits every library on every server at once.
Emby / Jellyfin — link the server, browse libraries, Continue Watching.
Both Plex and Emby now join the same source scan as your Stremio addons.
Account sync — pull your addon list and collections straight from your
Stremio or Nuvio account instead of pasting manifests one at a time. Each
service has its own direction and schedule.
Search diagnostics — runs a real query against every source and shows
which ones answered, how many results, and how long they took. Handy when one
addon has quietly died and you can’t tell which.
Artwork control — pick which source supplies posters and fanart, per
section or globally, with a priority order.
Sorting. The results window can now be sorted, not just filtered — by
size, quality, source or name. Size sorting in particular was impossible
before, since size was only a tie-breaker inside a resolution band.
Denser source list. Rows went from 128px to 96px, so you see 6–7 at a time
instead of 5, and long release names use the full row width instead of being
clipped.
Faster. Translation lookups are ~8x faster (they were scanning 795 keys
per unmatched label, once per row on screen) and settings reads are cached
instead of hitting Kodi every time.
Fixes worth calling out:
• One addon’s streams showing up 3x over. Each Stremio provider gets
queried with up to four id variants; bridge addons resolve all of them to
the same item and answer identically, so two versions became six rows.
Repeats from the same provider are now collapsed — rows from different
addons are untouched, since identical filenames there can still be different
routes.
• Duplicate items in folders. Titles weren’t normalised before comparison,
so common spelling variants counted as separate works. Now normalised, and
items merge across imdb/tmdb/tvdb instead of only the first id found.
• Sync ran both directions regardless of the direction you picked.
• Full English UI — the addon was originally Arabic-first.
