Release list
LUTviewer 2.1.0
✨ What's new
- Basic adjustments. A new Adjust section with Exposure, Contrast, Highlights, Shadows, Saturation, Temperature and Tint. Edits apply before the LUT (the way colorists work), so every LUT thumbnail shows your corrections. Double-click any slider to reset it, or use Reset all.
- A tidier panel. Camera, Adjust, LUT and LUT Library are now collapsible sections. Closed sections show a quick summary (like "Sony · S-Log3" or "3 changes"), and LUTviewer remembers how you left them.
- "Before" in the split view and in exported videos always shows the untouched footage: no edits, no LUT.
- The Filmic / Clip toggle is now labeled Roll-off.
⬇️ Install
On 1.1.0 or later? Click Update in the banner LUTviewer shows you.

LUTviewer 2.0.2
🛠 Fixes
- Exporting a before / after video no longer fails at the save step with "Failed to get 'movies' path". On some Macs, the system lookup for the Movies folder fails even though the folder exists. LUTviewer now finds it directly, and falls back to Downloads if needed.
- Your render is never lost. If saving fails, or you cancel the save dialog, the finished video is kept and a Save video… button lets you save it without re-rendering.

✨ What's new
- A brand-new About window (LUTviewer → About LUTviewer): your background loop, the new icon, and your personal stats (LUTs in your library, videos exported, time spent comparing), plus quick buttons to rate the app, check for updates, and open the website or GitHub. Tip: click the icon. 🎬

LUTviewer 2.0.0
✨ What's new in 2.0
- Before / after video export. Press the new export button (or ⌘E) to turn your clip or still into a shareable MP4: an animated wipe, a split screen, or side by side, with Before / After labels and a small LUTviewer watermark. Encoded on your Mac's hardware.
- Brand-new icon. A light icon in Light Mode and a dark icon in Dark Mode, in the Dock while LUTviewer is running, plus the title bar, splash screen and website.
- Rate LUTviewer. After a couple of minutes of use, LUTviewer asks once for a quick star rating (also in LUTviewer → Rate LUTviewer…). Only the star count is sent, anonymously, and only if you choose to rate.

- Automatic updates. LUTviewer now checks for new versions on launch. When one is out, a banner appears at the top of the window: click Update and it downloads, installs and restarts itself. You can also use LUTviewer → Check for Updates…, or turn automatic checks off in the same menu.
- New dark app icon. A light wheel on a dark tile in the Dock, Finder and Applications.
