4AIs v0.6.2 — first public release

The first public release of 4AIs — an AI agent that lives on your Android phone.

Install

1. Download 4ais-v0.6.2-arm64.apk below and install it (you may need to allow "install from unknown sources").
2. Requirements: arm64 device, Android 8.0+ (virtually every phone from 2017 onward).
3. Follow the in-app wizard: privacy consent → enable the accessibility service → automatic bootstrap (~3 min, ~200MB — installs Node.js + the agent gateway on the phone).
4. Add a model API key in Settings → AI provider. No key? NVIDIA's is free at build.nvidia.com.

⚠️ Android 13+ — if the "4AIs UI Automation" accessibility toggle is greyed out or says "Restricted setting", that's Android's standard gate for sideloaded apps, not a bug. Clear it once via Settings → Apps → 4AIs → ⋮ (top-right) → Allow restricted settings, then enable the toggle under Settings → Accessibility.

• On-device OpenClaw gateway (Node.js runs inside the app — no PC, no cloud middleman)
• Bring-your-own-key: NVIDIA, OpenAI, Anthropic, or Google Gemini
• Real UI automation via AccessibilityService — stable element ids, occlusion filtering, scroll-to-find, screenshots with legend overlay
• Graded-risk approval dialogs + on-device audit log
• Optional: Composio integrations (300+ apps), Shizuku shell access, Heartbeat scheduled runs

Notes

This APK is release-signed (not debug) and R8-minified. It's an early release — the core loop (chat → agent → phone control) works; first-run setup and streaming polish are actively being hardened. Found a rough edge? Open an issue — device compatibility reports especially welcome.
