Learn about vigilant mode.
  • Availability: devices are now controllable as soon as Home Assistant can see them over Bluetooth, instead of waiting for pushed state. Fixes lights that were discoverable and addable but stuck "unavailable" afterwards (e.g. under passive-scanning ESPHome proxies). Active scanning is no longer required for control.
  • Ring / FillLight (ADDRESSABLE_0x53) devices now read back their actual LED count into the device's Configure dialog instead of showing the default.
  • The IOTBT protocol selector is now a dropdown.
