v1.1.2
Govee Lighting Interaction for Twitch — v1.1.2
Improved
- Clearer, more precise error when the Twitch Client ID is missing or deleted (Invalid Client), with a quick link to the Twitch Developer Console — shown only for actual invalid-Client errors.
- Localized effect names (FR/EN).
- Improved backup import/export: the app version is now embedded and included in the exported file name to support future migrations and feature-compatibility checks.
- Backup import warns when the backup version differs from the current app version.
- Applying a color-only preset / changing color no longer re-fires an old effect.
- "Test now" renamed consistently to "Re-authenticate EventSub" across the UI (both languages).
Security
- The Client Secret (and access/refresh tokens) are never included in exported backups; only the Client ID is restored. After importing a backup, the UI prompts you to generate a new Client Secret in the Twitch Developer Console and re-authenticate EventSub.
Fixed
- "Invalid client" hint now appears only for genuine invalid-Client errors, not generic re-auth prompts.
- Preset replay state is reset correctly on color changes.
v1.1.1
v1.1.1 — Bug fix
Fixed
- EventSub listener now auto-enables when you connect Twitch. The OAuth callback sets
enabled: trueon a successful connection. Previously, on a fresh install, Twitch connected successfully but the listener stayed disabled ("EventSub not started — config incomplete or disabled"), because theenabledflag was never set during OAuth and the "Test connection" button does not enable it.
Upgrade
Download the zip and replace your existing installation (keep server/data/ to preserve your configuration, then reconnect Twitch if needed).
v1.1.0
What's new in 1.1.0
Native Twitch OAuth (no more external generators) — The Connect with Twitch button obtains the access token + refresh token directly. Automatic refresh before every API call (~4 h). Client Secret field added to the Twitch panel.
HTTPS dashboard — The server now serves the app on https://localhost:3001 with an auto-generated self-signed certificate (SAN: localhost + 127.0.0.1, valid 10 years). Required by Twitch OAuth. Redirect URI to register: https://localhost:3001/api/twitch/callback.
Improvements
- Readable EventSub errors (e.g. "Client ID and OAuth token do not match")
- Twitch panel restructured into 2 clear steps (credentials → connect)
- Success notice auto-dismissed after 3 s
- Backup exports no longer contain secrets (clientId, clientSecret, access/refresh tokens)
- Docs updated (README, INSTALLATION, CHANGELOG)
Setup: create a Twitch app in the Developer Console (category Chat Bot), add the redirect URI above, then click Connect with Twitch in the dashboard.
v1.0.4
What's new
Localized Twitch debug logs
- Server-side debug logs are now stored as i18n keys instead of hardcoded French text.
- The debug panel now shows messages in the dashboard's language (English or French).
- The EventSub reconnect-hint detection no longer relies on French strings.
Live version in footer
- The footer version is now served by the server (/api/health) instead of being hardcoded — it always matches the released version.
Preset command fix (already in main)
- Presets no longer store stale effect commands: commands are re-resolved from the device catalog and Kelvin is stored for lighting presets (no more black flash when applying "Blanc doux"). Existing presets (Rainbow-B, Romantic, Blanc doux, Meteor, Fireworks-A) were repaired.
