Web Respect 0.5.2

Choose a tag to compare

@9mtm 9mtm released this 10 Oct 18:50

Web Respect 0.5.2 shows Feed before Statement in the accessibility drawer footer and adds a required statement-preparation workflow plus an evidence-based draft template to the agent skill.

Statements preserve verified host facts, describe evaluation scope and known barriers, offer contact and applicable escalation information, and show one text-only Powered by Dpro link at the bottom of the statement page. Drawer branding remains absent. The workflow distinguishes EU public-sector statements and covered-service accessibility information from universal legal claims.

Validation: TypeScript, 23 tests, skill validation, local link-order/statement preview and archive privacy checks passed. npm publication requires owner authentication and separate availability verification.

Web Respect 0.5.1

Choose a tag to compare

@9mtm 9mtm released this 10 Oct 18:45

Web Respect 0.5.1 makes Feed, Sitemap and root robots.txt a required website-integration step. The skill asks what public content may be published, preserves existing feeds, sitemap indexes and crawler rules, and verifies connected resources before reporting completion.

Audit-only requests stay read-only. Missing publication choices or access are reported as pending. Package installation never automatically publishes content. Browser/runtime files are unchanged from 0.5.0.

Validation: skill validator, package build, runtime byte comparison and archive privacy scan passed. npm availability requires owner publication and separate verification.

Web Respect 0.5.0

Choose a tag to compare

@9mtm 9mtm released this 10 Oct 18:33

Web Respect 0.5.0 adds customizable control sizes, layouts, frame variants and corner placement, a Feed link in accessibility, improved discovery icons and reviewed robots.txt integration. The agent skill now includes technical SEO and consistent publication inventories.

Cookie attribution uses only a text Dpro link beneath withdrawal while About Cookies is selected. Host names and logos are never widget attribution; accessibility and cookie settings have none.

Validation: TypeScript, 23 tests, skill validation, browser visibility checks, seven discovery routes and archive privacy checks passed. npm availability must be confirmed separately; the release tarball can be installed directly.

Web Respect 0.4.0

Choose a tag to compare

@9mtm 9mtm released this 10 Oct 11:32

Adds owner-approved public discovery feeds, a host-branded feed hub, RSS/Atom/JSON, sitemap and llms files. The agent skill covers publication choices and site-wide localized consent/footer integration. Validation: 22 behavioral tests, TypeScript check, XML parsing and package privacy scan passed. npm publication is pending owner authentication.

Web Respect 0.3.2 — developer-only service diagnostics

Choose a tag to compare

@9mtm 9mtm released this 10 Oct 09:21

Service scanning is now exclusively a developer/agent diagnostic API. The visitor privacy component no longer exposes a Cookie Checker button or diagnostic report. Empty privacy options render nothing; explicitly configured deletion workflows keep their confirmation and receipt handling.

The scanner API and current-source audit skill remain available for project inspection. Existing 0.3.1 installations must upgrade to obtain this behavior.

Validation: 20 behavioral tests including no controls with an empty configuration, bundle/type build, publication privacy scan (134 files), and Astro site build passed. npm publication awaits the owner.

Web Respect 0.3.1 — popup branding and footer spacing

Choose a tag to compare

@9mtm 9mtm released this 10 Oct 08:46

Configured attribution now appears at the bottom of the cookie preferences popup, with a bounded logo and short Powered by text. The accessibility drawer has no branding. Footer controls wrap with clear spacing.

Includes the existing local cookie/service checker, optional privacy-request API and market-specific audit skill. The scanner reports current-page evidence; actual data flows, retention and legal applicability require project/provider inspection and current official sources.

Validation: 20 behavioral tests, TypeScript build, packaged SSR imports, complete skill installer, public demo visual verification, and 134-file publication privacy scan passed. No private machine paths or credentials detected.

The npm registry has verified version 0.3.0. Version 0.3.1 awaits owner publication.

Web Respect 0.3.0 — Cookie Checker and privacy requests

Choose a tag to compare

@9mtm 9mtm released this 10 Oct 08:33

Web Respect 0.3.0 adds a local Cookie Checker / Cookie Scanner and configurable data-deletion request controls for any website or application. The bundled agent skill discovers actual browser/server services, including AI providers, and prepares host-specific integrations through the package.

  • Local reports exclude cookie/storage values and URL query strings; nothing is transmitted by the scanner.
  • Confirmed visitor requests connect to a host-supplied verified workflow. Server dispatch records authorization and per-provider pending/completed/restricted/failed states.
  • Includes npm-compatible package, standalone skill ZIP, WordPress ZIP and SHA-256 checksums.

Validation: TypeScript check/build and 20 behavior tests passed. React/Vue/Angular/Svelte browser fixtures built. Local Chromium demo, cancellation and narrow layout verified; installed-tarball exports/SSR imports passed. A targeted 134-file package scan found no private paths, forbidden files or tested secret patterns.

Provider credentials, protected endpoints, durable queues, subject mappings, idempotent vendor adapters and legal/retention handling require host setup. Detection does not prove complete inventory or authorize real deletion. The Dpro deletion demo is a simulation. No automatic legal or WCAG certification, universal vendor compatibility or real WordPress/provider runtime coverage is claimed.

Web Respect 0.2.1 — brand colours

@9mtm 9mtm released this 10 Oct 08:12

Web Respect 0.2.1

Integration logos now use their original brand colours, sit on a white backing for readability on dark backgrounds, and are centered in the README. The audit skill, browser and backend runtime remain unchanged from 0.2.0. This release excludes pending local 0.3.0 development.

Install the tarball with npm install ./web-respect-dpro-0.2.1.tgz. Install the bundled skill with npx --no-install web-respect-skill --target .agents/skills. The standalone audit skill remains the unchanged 0.2.0 download linked in the README.

Validation: 120 package files scanned with no private-path/token findings; centered colour logos verified; packaged skill installation, SSR import and eleven core behavioral tests passed; runtime source unchanged from the 0.2.0 tag; bundles rebuilt from committed source. No new browser/backend compatibility claim is made.

npm publication may require the owner's local two-factor authentication. The last verified registry version is 0.1.2 until the new publication is confirmed.

Web Respect 0.2.0 — audit skill

Pre-release

@9mtm 9mtm released this 09 Oct 22:27

Web Respect 0.2.0

Web Respect now ships a structured coding-agent audit skill for market-specific privacy and accessibility work. It asks about the operator and actual markets before selecting rules, inspects real browser/backend/vendor/AI data flows, records evidence for processing locations and retention, and reviews requests and downstream deletion.

Initial official-source research profiles cover EU/EEA, Brazil, the United States and Australia. Additional jurisdictions require current research. The skill reports unknowns and legal decisions; it is not an autonomous all-laws scanner or certification.

Download web-respect-skill-0.2.0.zip and extract the complete web-respect folder into your agent's skills directory. Alternatively install web-respect-dpro-0.2.0.tgz and run npx --no-install web-respect-skill --target .agents/skills. The installer preserves existing skills. Browser/backend runtime behavior is unchanged from the tested initial release.

Validation: skill validator passed; independent fictional-market audit and installer review; complete relative references; packed installer and SSR smoke; 120 package files scanned with no private-path/token findings; Astro check passed for 73 files and 89-page build. npm 0.1.2 remains the previously verified registry release until the owner completes publishing 0.2.0.

The product page replaces duplicate integration logos with a skill download and copyable audit prompt. Logos remain in the footer.

Web Respect 0.1.2

Documentation and branding update: original owner-provided compliance badges with explicit attribution, license/status/npm badges, and tested frontend/backend integration icons with their CC0 licence. No browser/backend behavior changes from 0.1.0.

npm 0.1.2 is now publicly available with the updated README. Install with npm install web-respect-dpro@0.1.2. Its registry integrity matches this reviewed tarball. Runtime behavior is unchanged from tested 0.1.0; the packaged verification report retains the initial test-version details. The 113-file release scan found no private paths or secret patterns.
