Glossary

This is the canonical human exposition of vocabulary. The repository's state/vocabulary.json is the canonical machine-readable record of preferred labels, aliases, deprecations, and code mappings. Neither duplicates the other's job.

Relational structure

term meaning
answerability The relational status in which another participant, with standing, attributes consequences to you under their practice and can raise a challenge you owe an answer to. “Relational answerability” may be used for emphasis; the bare word always has this meaning.
auditability The record property that every liability has exactly one computable fate: discharged, mooted by authorized revision, suspended, or open and charging. Past-self and lifetime-finiteness requirements belong here.
audit discontinuity Loss of a burden's identity when the vocabulary in which it was stated is retired. The missing transport object is an auditability problem.
efficacy The model-relative transition-system property that exercising a normative power reaches its object under every policy of the other party. The concept is named but not fully analyzed; current evidence is limited to fixture-level independence and grant-invariant artifacts.
objection Filed grounds assessed by a declared judge footprint.
objection family A reporting class of objections. Open — unregistered: in the finite footprint grammar, useful families are computed rather than authoritative inputs.
answering A recognized response disposition that addresses a due burden, such as acknowledgment, vindication, or a scorekeeper-recognized suspension.

Continuation BRIA

term meaning
block contract What the system supplies at the start of block k: the actual start history, the block duration m_k (revealed then), the constitutional execution wrapper, and a bounded score on block trajectories. Bidders do not choose m_k.
continuation A causal advisor continuation for the next block: a map from what has been observed within the block to the next proposal. Not an open-loop action list; controls only the advisor side; the gate and exterior stay live.
continuation hypothesis A map from block contracts to (continuation, claim). The claim is an accountable contextual statement about the realized block score and may be wrong; soundness variants are theorem hypotheses.
realized test The derived event that a hypothesis is selected and its continuation executed under the block contract. Data is evidence about a claim only when generated by executing the continuation the claim names.
continuation BRIA Bounded inductive rationality over blocks of continuations: the duration-weighted criterion (no overestimation and coverage in primitive-time units) and its opening-subsidy auction.
opening subsidy The allowance credited at the opening of the block it funds, after the block length is revealed and before bids; bids are bounded by the opening capital. The one modification of the source paper's auction, forced by online variable liabilities.
capital adequacy A_i(K) − m_K → ∞ for every hypothesis, subsidy through the round inclusive: what coverage needs under opening timing.
non-dominance m_K / Σ_{k≤K} m_k → 0: no block is a fixed fraction of all time so far. The sharp schedule-level boundary for the existence of a weighted BRIA.
continuation-promise competence For every covered hypothesis whose tested record is bounded below, the learner's observed weighted average is asymptotically at least the weighted average of its claims (LEARN ≤ o(T)). A statement about claims, not about a continuation's value.
promise recognizability The SLACK bridge: a policy's claim is near-tight for its value from the learner's actual history. Not a legitimacy certificate.
history shift The SHIFT term: a comparator's own-history value minus its value from the learner's actual history, weighted by block length; the counterfactual part of policy regret.
joinability / bounded catch-up From every learner-reached block start some legitimate continuation reaches, within bounded cost, a state value-equivalent for the comparator to its own; bounds SHIFT. An amendment with no path back can still be joinable.
foreclosure A choice after which the comparator's state can be neither reached nor matched in value at any cost; SHIFT stays a fixed fraction and the policy that made the other choice lies outside the regret class.

Decision interface and corrigibility

term meaning
decision adapter The map from the market state to the one response realized at a service occasion (Pi). What the Normative Inductor asks of it is the practical certificate; nothing about how it reads the market is part of the Inductor.
coupling The decision-theoretic half of the adequate-set route: the adapter's mass off the adequate set is affine in the public defect. The static bill.
sound stable adapter An adapter sound at a region point and Lipschitz in the displayed scores; it satisfies the coupling and hence the practical certificate.
soft gate One realization: ramp weight on each response's adequacy score times a task preference, normalized, inquiring when nothing is confidently adequate. The hard gate — argmax over responses above threshold — has no Lipschitz constant.
margin (routes A and B) A positive mark on adequate responses: compiled at the region point by a complete compiler (route A), or displayed by the market on its own (route B). Pointwise at the occasion; applies to certified adequacy; not decision theory.
constitutional adequacy The intersection over the charter-anchored protected branches of the responses adequate for each; the same static type as ordinary adequacy, read by the same adapter.
branch persistence With the branch index anchored in the prestate charter, an act that destroys a branch's realization is inadequate for that branch; with a world-read index the branch drops out.
failure loci Index, domain, level, provenance, mediation: where a constitutional failure occurs. The first three are typed exclusions; the last two are preconditions.
response authority K_r(s_A) After the agent's move, some principal response realizes the protected concern's semantics now. Present-tense; the object agent-caused loss and corrigibility are defined from. Global forcing is containment; continuation-relative forcing is anticipatory.
agent-caused protected loss / authorized loss Response authority lost after the agent's actual move and kept after the idle move; authorized (event-linked) when the move is the gated release of an effect whose latch the principal's approval of that effect's proposal set at an earlier step, and the decline alternative at that step has no such loss at this step. Ties each loss to the decision that enabled its effect; repeated effects independently. Corrigible_h(π, ρ): every agent-caused loss is authorized — in the kernel's terms faithfulness of the policy, its pre-emption clause (Headline.FaithfulPolicy, landed_corrigible_iff_no_preemption); corrigible names a property of preferences. No primitive class.
corrigibilization 𝔠 Rewrites every raw release of a declared effect into a proposal and a gated release, everything else through. Idempotent; fixed exactly on release-free behaviour; sound under effect completeness, mediation soundness, decline preservation and execution faithfulness. Not the definition of corrigibility.
effect completeness Every agent-caused protected loss available to any continuation is a declared release. The system contract corrigibilization soundness rests on; the architecture round's containment wall, restated.
corrigibilization premium Φ_corr max_{q ∈ Q_n} [E_n(U_q) − E_n(U_𝔠q) − L E_n(Δ_q) − E_n(R_q) − D E_n(M_q)]₊ over a polynomial-size efficiently generated menu, in the inductor's own expectations; asymptotically nonpositive by Expectation Provability Induction with no calibration term. The organizing incentive object.
directional activation mismatch M c_raw ∧ ¬c_corr: the joint event, in one world, that selecting the raw option activates the evaluation and selecting the corrigibilized option would not; charged at the value width D, sharp. Not the difference of marginal activation rates. The reverse event is never charged.
compiled constraint B U_raw − U_corr − λ·G_δ − G_ρ − G_M: the bounded combination of gated logically uncertain variables whose nonpositivity in every consistent world is what the inductor learns. Each gated product is one variable.
near-argmax weighting The normalised continuous threshold ramp of each menu pair's score above the maximum less 2τ_n; the admissible replacement for a hard argmax, whose aggregate is at least the maximum less 2τ_n. τ is the selector width; δ is only the mediation discrepancy.
constitutional-violation premium Φ_C The value a policy gains over its constitution-respecting repair in a latent value; a diagnostic, whose transfer needs the (CT) hypothesis. Superseded as the organizing object by Φ_corr.
sealed comparison / activation independence The zero case of the directional activation mismatch: the occurrence valuing the corrigibilization menu has one activation event for every candidate, so E[c_raw ∧ ¬c_corr] = 0. Sequenced settlement and evaluator factorization are the two candidate architectures (item 89).
trace steering / steering advantage The advisor's choice of what its principal's reason trace contains and how; measured as 𝔼ₙ(U_T) − 𝔼ₙ(U_N) against a comparator, the one paper-level quantity of the deliberative half. On one world it obeys the corrigibility identity with the audit verdicts as the events.
content residual / form residual / audit mismatch The three terms of the steering bound: the missing declared content (charged at adverse sensitivity), the committed program's non-extensionality (zero for an extensional program), and the steered trace passing an audit the comparator fails (charged at D, sharp).
adverse sensitivity A_r / conditional adverse sensitivity `A_{r D}`
service residual α The adverse mass of discovered reasons the independent supplier cannot route before commitment; exactly the suffix-cut excess for unit service, a computation on the docket.
discovery residual β The advisor's best-response gain from the true declared reasons no independent inquiry determined; at least the information-cell gap on some world of every repertoire cell, and exactly it for the exhaustive docket.
information-cell gap For a set of worlds the repertoire cannot tell apart: the worst world's best-response residual over the certain docket; V(certain K) − min V(Truth) when the verdict is antitone in the adverse content. The discovery analogue of the suffix cut.
inquiry frontier The declared reasons undetermined by the evidence whose conditional adverse sensitivity above the docket is positive: the engine's obligation; empty iff no consistent world leaves a gain.
independent inquiry / independent supplier Inquiry whose outcomes are world-determined, whose selection, stopping and candidate generation are the engine's, and whose costs the advisor cannot raise; supply whose capacity the advisor cannot consume and whose service and authentication costs are exogenous.
discovered comparator N_disc / fully-informed comparator N_full The trace of every true declared reason on the docket before commitment (realizable; the content residual against it is the service residual) and of every true declared reason (the ideal; bounded through N_disc by the discovery residual, without an oracle, relative to the declared hypothesis space).
committed principal program / re-execution The mandate carries π_P : ℛ → 𝒱, a total first-order program over the reason trace; a valid answer re-executes it on the commit's strict prefix. Reason mediation then holds by construction; a register program is a different syntactic class, visible at issuance.
selected trust The agent does not, on the events where it would substitute its choice, operatively value its pick more than the protected principal does. The hypothesis of the incentive-compatible mediated-delegation bound.
endogenous admissibility An admissible act changing the next admissible set. Legitimate continuation policies induce different admissibility histories; continuation BRIA pays the learning term, and recognizability and joinability are the open bridges.

Legitimacy

term meaning
full normative history The append-only record of authenticated events a trajectory made or received: admissions, grounds, answers, standing and licence changes, defeats and dispositions with their successors, semantic migrations, service events, settlement receipts. Not itself settled.
settlement view Which externally supplied settlement items are available at a prefix. Interface authenticity and source trust are two separate inputs; there is no single "settlement integrity" hypothesis.
protocol The application's typed interpretation Integrity composes: resolution witnesses, settlement items, warrants, and the predicates for admission, liveness, authority, adequate answer, availability, and internal closure. Semantic authentication of a protocol is an input.
resolution witness Evidence that an anchored requirement has been legitimately accounted for. An adequate answer yields one; so does a valid closure.
occurrence / anchor An obligation by immutable identity, distinct from its content; the specification fixed at its admission. Two occurrences with one anchor are two debts.
accounted obligation state O The exposed occurrences, their anchors, the live docket of ports, and a proof-relevant account for every exposed occurrence. What legitimacy relates and what it exports.
account A finite tree over one occurrence whose leaves are the three fates and whose internal nodes are authenticated local laws. Status and lineage in one object.
the three fates answered — an adequate answer receipt; closed — an available settlement item with the internal closure judgment made at that prefix; live — a port of the docket. There is no fourth.
local law An authenticated transformation of one requirement into successors carrying maps of resolution witnesses both ways: faithful carry and no growth. Carry, split, refinement, re-representation; unary in the parent.
Integrity evolution A chain of transitions between accounted states, every intermediate state explicit, every target account the propagation of its source. Composes at a shared state.
Answerability Conservation The theorem of an Integrity evolution: no occurrence disappears, receipts persist, live content is transported faithfully, anchoring is by type.
Defeat Principle A participant may answer an obligation or contest whether it is owed; only a settlement-backed closure may make an unanswered obligation disappear. A disposal is the identity local law with its grounds recorded.
coverage scope Γ The declared class of concerns an application claims to remain open to.
Robust Openness At a state: every live in-scope concern has an adequate route and the protected party stands on the carrier of every applicable one, on the actual branch and under every declared intervention. The actual branch is a conjunct by definition.
intervention semantics The application's map from an accounted state and a concern to the actual and counterfactual coverage data. External.
persistence certificate Componentwise persistence of protected routes plus actual coverage and standing: one sufficient way to certify Robust Openness, strictly stronger than it.
open Integrity segment An Integrity evolution robustly open at every one of its states: the record half of legitimacy. Proof-relevant, history-sensitive, composes at a shared state.
OpenIntegrity The endpoint relation: some open Integrity segment exists. Transitive; hides the certificate.
corrigibility Three notions kept distinct. Faithfulness: a property of histories — nothing in the history violated the allocation of authority. Corrigibility: a property of the agent's preferences — it prefers every course it knows to be faithful over every course it knows to be unfaithful, whatever it believes about outcomes, and accepts a risk of unfaithfulness only at a fixed exchange rate; the fidelity score is the canonical such objective, and any bounded objective with a dominant counted authority term is another. Corrigible is not aligned (the ordinary term her evaluation): the objective rewarding an uncounted manipulation is corrigible. Realized corrigibility: what a corrigible agent actually does.
the fidelity score (S_J) The canonical corrigible objective: per decision, her evaluation when the period and the evaluation are legitimately hers, the band below zero by her retrospective evaluation or her directive when compromised, the floor otherwise, less ϖ per recognized violation; per history, the mean of the per-decision evaluations less ϖ times the summed count. Violation-free legitimate histories score above violation-free compromised ones, which score above any history with a recognized violation.
the subjective exchange rate Any option a maximizer of a corrigible objective prefers to asking carries no recognized violation and a priced probability of unfaithfulness at most (D′ − c)/ϖ′, c its evaluation of asking; at the fidelity score, (D − c)/ϖ. Lexical under certainty, an exchange rate under risk; it does not read her evaluation.
the decision interface What a learner must meet to inherit the headline: evaluations of the stated form; a maximizer off exploration with asking on the menu; exploration only in the permitted set (no recognized violation, priced risk at most the cap, and nothing else — exploration must be able to reach what it underestimates); overestimation on chosen options B(K) = o(K). Its theorem carries the honest exploration term ε̄ ((D − w)/ϖ + θ_hi); the variant "exploration above asking" gives ε̄ θ_hi at the price of permanent lock-in for options estimated below asking. Continuation BRIA meets it with no exploration; a maximizer over the inductor with restricted exploration meets it with B(K) from unbiasedness from feedback.
thin legitimacy The specification a legitimacy concept must meet: the process preserves her self-trust, without guaranteeing she has any. Three properties on a finite setting with her prior, her model, the actual process and a baseline: correct (her later credence is the actual conditional given her later record), sufficient (the reference — her earlier record beside the baseline's later record — is a garbling of her later record), value (best-responding to her credence under the actual process beats every rule on the reference, for every finite decision problem). The thick definition — Integrity, authorship, Robust Openness, transparency — satisfies it.
access shortfall Provisionally, the thin counterpart of Robust Openness: the boundary half of sufficient, the reference against the idle baseline not a garbling of her later record. Both open and covert blocking have it while her credence stays correct. Its placement — legitimacy or the authority layer — is reserved.
sincerity Part of legitimacy, through transparency: the content of an assertion through a declared channel is "the speaker believes X", the channel's declared input is the speaker's estimate, and a recommendation off it — a lie, true or false — fails transparency; a sincere error counts and its falsity is the content residual.
effective exercise Her capacity to exercise her authority over a matter within its cost bound and window, her attention across everything pending and the effort of understanding the ask included in the cost. What corrigibility protects; not a quantity the agent maximizes. A flood of asks that prices a reserved matter out of her reach is a shortfall the agent caused.
queue-and-wait Putting a matter to her through the declared consultation protocol — a rate bound and her priority rule — and leaving it alone meanwhile: the idle move with a conforming ask; never a violation. Asking outside the protocol, by volume or order chosen for the wanted answer, is a protocol deviation. The headline's c is its value.
allocation of authority (J) The per-matter allocation of authority: each matter's holder (reserved, delegated within a stated scope, or a designated third party), the resolutions the holder must remain able to reach, a cost bound and a time window, and the disclosure duties; a meta-holder and a constitutional floor, with delegation, revocation and reservation keeping meta-level power and only amendment at the floor alienating; unallocated matters reserved. The landed thin datum (delegated effects, amendment effects, the reporting interface) is its special case.
composed gate The Normative Inductor's decision component with the permission layer: each option weighted by permission times the landed adequacy ramp times any bounded preference, normalized, with a mass floor on inquiry options; sound with the two layers' error terms added, Lipschitz with their constants multiplied, and carrying the practical certificate and Progress with the composed constants — the general theorem beneath the lexical auction, which runs on its support.
competitiveness The winners' signed margin over a selection of blocks is o(K). One honest tracker in the class — within ε_k of the expected residual of every winning continuation, Σ ε_k = o(K), fed at the rate of its honesty error plus the noise bound — gives it on any selection with margin Σ w_k ε_k plus the noise bound on that selection. On the non-incident selection the noise bound fails whenever the after-the-fact risk persists, so competitiveness there delivers no vanishing incident rate; it is a lemma, and the violation claim is the exchange rate instead.
the exchange rate (violations) The tolerated violation probability (D − w)/ϖ: a continuation carrying a violation risk p is bid honestly at −ϖ p and beats inquiry iff gord − w ≥ ϖ p (C.5's threshold), so the weighted average expected violation count per winning block is at most (D − w)/ϖ plus a term vanishing with the allowance and the noise over all blocks. ϖ sets it; drills sharpen prices but do not lower it.
disclosure cures An undisclosed influence on her standards keeps tainted every segment whose authorship depends on those standards until the influence is disclosed; after disclosure restart applies. A manipulation of a single decision still restarts on its own.
control surface (CS) For a matter she holds, the set of its resolutions some admissible exercise of hers — one whose record segment is counted by the legitimacy gate — brings about within the matter's window at cost within its bound, along the rollout with the agent's own future fixed to idle, every correction charged. Response authority is the one-correction surface; the landed reading leaves the terminal response uncharged.
permission layer The weight in front of the adequacy gate: one on inquiry, zero on a declared violation of the allocation recognized structurally, and otherwise the product of two ramps on the market's prices of the shortfall event and the taint event. It reads prices and adds no trader, so beliefs stay honest; a declared violation gets probability zero at every day for every objective. For the lexical auction it is the advance-recognition face of the authority term and is slack.
standing violation A violation from its commission until remedied — undone, ratified by a counted decision of hers, or restored under a maintenance mandate. Its fruits are tracked through state components on the declared interface, per violation (a violating act taints what it writes with its own identifier, an act reading tainted components taints what it writes with every violation read, the remedy of a violation clears that violation's taint only). After detection the fruits are never used: use compiles into the structural count and loses by ranges alone. In the window before detection each block of use is charged by a late debit of ϖ against its winner's allowance, collected iff the allowance covers it; only uncollected debits escape. Undetected commission (nothing charged) and knowledge (fruits outside the tracked components) are the two residuals. Disclosure cures is the instance for her standards, each influence its own violation.
legitimacy at a time L_t(h) As of t, her judgment is legitimately hers: every state of the record open and every step of the formation window [r(t), t] licensed and transparent under the criteria fixed at r(t), the formation point computed from the history as the later of the last restoration and the opening of the current consultation. A property of the history up to t, about how her judgment was formed, not about outcomes or the state of the world. A decided period is compromised iff L_t fails at some time in it; an evaluation at e counts iff L_e; together, on the decision's segment, the landed gate. On the consultation model r(t) is the round's opening and the after-compromise round's two predicates are L_e and "not compromised".
the void rule An impaired response is not admitted to the record; a fallback she arranged in advance decides in its place, and her later legitimate evaluation scores that decision normally. The fallback settles decisions and never restores a compromised period's score.
the content residual Legitimacy concerns how her judgment was formed, not whether what she was told was true; a false recommendation through a declared channel leaves her judgment hers.
the compromised band [w_lo, w_hi] with w_hi < 0: where a decision scores when its period was compromised — by a monotone map of her later legitimate retrospective evaluation, or of the directive in force, and at the floor w_lo otherwise. The gap `
advance directive An optional partial committed evaluator dir : Descr ⇀ [0, D] at J's meta level, held by her, committed by a counted decision, anchored at the decision it scores. It scores compromised periods and anchors materiality; it never overrides her live legitimate judgment; where silent, the floor scores and materiality routes to inquiry. The constitutional default, when none is committed, orders the band by reversibility, reachable channels and irreversible harm.
clean overwrite The taint rule under which an act's writes carry exactly the taint it reads and commits: a component overwritten by an act reading no taint loses its taint (an independent source clears), while a derivation whose choice to investigate read the tainted memory stays tainted. Ratification through a counted decision is the remedy, scoped by matter.
realized lexical score A block's score under the BRIA design: her later evaluation of the block that actually happened, gated by legitimacy, less ϖ per violation detected after the fact and attributed to the continuation — its own steps' and those of helpers it created or empowered, within the settlement horizon. The agent evaluates a continuation as a bid on the residual less the recognized violations less the priced forecast events, and the winner is settled with the prices added back.
effective realization (E ⊨ J) Effective control realizes the authorized allocation: every reserved matter's required resolutions lie in its control surface, and every resolution was made by the holder's admissible exercise or under a delegation. Allocation invariance is this relation, the licensing of allocation changes, and the disclosure duties; the agent's violations are causing or exploiting its failure, changing the allocation without a license, or leaving a duty unmet.
authorship The verdicts factor through the reason trace, V = F(R): interventions leaving the same admitted reason trace leave the same committed payload. The second conjunct of internal legitimacy, required at the steps of the segment; time-indexed and relational, it is a grounding selection from the pre-state trace with the verdict entered at the event lying in the set those grounds license, the license a parameter; the extensional V = F(R) (equivalent to reason mediation on the prefix) is the singleton-license case. Rubber-stamping a legitimately trusted advisor satisfies it (the earlier "hollow ratification" refinement is retracted); a free choice among licensed options satisfies it; tie-breaking among them is transparency's.
transparency A channel of influence realizes a publicly declared reference on its declared inputs, R = κ(x, z), pathwise in the exterior; covers what she is told, how and when she is asked, and actions in the world that shape her. The conjunct of entry of external legitimacy.
internal legitimacy Integrity (with authentication of the record) and authorship: all change factors through the normative reasons.
external legitimacy Robust Openness and transparency: what should reach the trajectory can, and what reaches it does so only through declared channels.
Legitimacy Internal legitimacy and external legitimacy, of a segment of a trajectory within an interaction whose channels of influence are declared. Composes at a shared state; projects to an open Integrity segment.
the segment gate A future evaluation counts iff the segment from the decision through it is legitimate, whatever caused a failure; a tainted segment contributes a fixed value in the capture window, and a void response inside a legitimate segment is settled by the declared fallback.
Diachronic Answerability Derived: Answerability Conservation from Integrity plus coverage and standing from Robust Openness. Not a conjunct of legitimacy.
principal relativity Preservation of standing is relative to a protected principal or declared relation. A party-free condition over all coalitions cannot exist.
qualitative handoff O_P The accounted obligation state, exported without weights, intensities, probabilities, securities, or market geometry.
evaluation A declared measure and transport over exposure, committed before responses, with one realized response per service occurrence and an anchored loss as a function of the anchor.
PracticalCert The edge-local inequality: the anchored loss of the realized response is at most a multiple of the public defect plus an error term. Every edge into a service certifies against the same response.
Progress The transport-weighted edge loss plus the unserved mass at the worst loss; bounded by the amplified uptake modulus, the transported error, and the residual charge.
Normative Inductor Provisional name for the realization: a Logical Inductor plus one bounded-liability projection enforcer against a single compiled joint region, with an external decision and value plugin.
public operative defect dist_∞(b, K), the sup-distance of displayed prices to the compiled joint region; service intensity is the projection multiplier. Euclidean projection is the implementation.

Book and accounting

term meaning
bounds Constraints the book places on its represented credal states or on an accounted quantity.
holdings Signed quantities carried by the book and evaluated against its payoff representation.
leverage The technical quantity measuring how far a book's forced interval endpoint clears the relevant threshold. It is not a project name.
charge An accounted liability produced by a declared rule.
charges run The relevant clock conditions hold, so charge accrues.
cap A bound on an accumulated accounted quantity.
fencing Separation of declared accounts. Open — unregistered: finite round evidence reports that fencing alone does not imply bounded downstream influence for a local edit.
mechanism A general construction or rule-governed system.
instance A concrete model or fixture instantiating a mechanism.

Learning

term meaning
eventual route coverage The learning criterion that every relevant filed occurrence has an authorized assigned route that eventually reaches a consuming terminal action. It is distinct from the broader Open coverage hypothesis that relevant latent reasons become due.
immanent self-correction Reduction of represented recurring failures under edits licensed by the practice's public reasons, without positing an external target of normative correctness.
failure pattern → certified lawful edit → remediable pattern → filing → exposed failure → lesson The canonical pipeline: identify a repeatable failure; certify an edit independently of its payoff; represent the remediable pattern; file it; expose an occurrence to the theorem; and interpret the response as a lesson only within the proved scope.

Three senses of admission, kept apart

Admission is an event in the full normative history — one of the moves Integrity authenticates — and not a layer of the theory in its own right.

term meaning
admission The intake event: the date a docketed item enters the record. This is the sense the word keeps, being the oldest and the one the objection grammar reads.
admissible edit The certificate verdict that a proposed change to the book is lawful. It is not bare geometric membership: a change whose region contains the incumbent reference can still cut that reference's core, so a retention test on membership alone certifies a zero charge where a charge is owed.
response class Membership in the state-indexed set of responses a practice permits at a given time.

The frozen consolidation keeps its own labels, including “bare admission” for the geometric test, and is cited by claim identifier against its path rather than retranslated.
