Breaking Changes

• magic_string.lua and all associated features have been fully removed from the extension, _extension.yml, and all references.

Bug Fixes

• The extension no longer crashes when abbreviations.tex is not present. Users who don't use the terms and abbreviations feature can now render documents without errors
• The default abbreviations file path has been changed from formatting_files/abbreviations.tex to abbreviations.tex in the quarto project root. Users can still override this via the abbreviations-file frontmatter key
• Cross-references {{< crossref >}} to undefined captions now display ?? instead of literal nil in the rendered Word document, with a warning logged to help diagnose the issue
• The unmatched glossary terms log file has been renamed from unmatched_glossary_terms.json to unmatched_glossary_terms.log to accurately reflect the plain-text format
• Corrected examples.qmd to example.qmd in the README.
