Changed code to have a 1s long power on pulse to test with FrankenGeek boards.
Board Flashing Instructions:
Unplug all power and wand connections from board.
🔧 What You Need:
- A computer (Windows, macOS, or Linux)
- The file: SpiritBro_1984.ino.uf2.zip
- A Raspberry Pi Pico board
- A micro-USB cable
📁 Step 1: Unzip the File
- Locate the downloaded file: SpiritBro_1984.ino.uf2.zip.
- Right-click on the file and choose:
Windows: “Extract All…” or use a tool like 7-Zip
macOS: “Open With > Archive Utility” - You’ll get a file called:
SpiritBro_1984.ino.uf2
🔌 Step 2: Put the SpiritBro into Bootloader Mode
- Unplug your SpiritBro from the USB cable if it’s already connected.
- Hold down the BOOTSEL button (the white button on the green microcontroller board).
- While holding the button, plug in the Pico using the micro-USB cable.
- Release the button after plugging in.
- A new drive called “RPI-RP2” should appear on your computer.
📤 Step 3: Copy the UF2 File to the SpiritBro board
- Drag and drop the file SpiritBro_1984.ino.uf2 onto the RPI-RP2 drive.
- The SpiritBro will automatically reboot and run the new firmware.
- Once you see a flashing green light, you can safely disconnect the board from your computer and connect it back into your pack.
