Highlights

  • Writer now exposes bounded live NUMWORDS and NUMCHARS fields. Counts come from visible body text and exclude generated field results.
  • Cross-reference can insert bookmark-backed PAGEREF fields with stable bookmark identity, normalization tracking, and an explicit missing-target state.
  • Native DOCX import/export recognizes the deterministic common-field subset and reports unsupported switches, malformed structures, nested fields, and missing targets without changing their cached text.
