SPICY SLIDES 0.2.0 — independent plugins
macOS 13+: install the PKG into Applications. Universal Apple Silicon / Intel launcher, .spicy file association, independent browser app windows with a dedicated persistent profile. Requires Chrome, Edge, Yandex, Brave or Chromium installed separately.
Plugins → Install or update accepts independent .spicy-plugin packages. Configure a widget and insert a self-contained copy into the presentation. Updating or removing the installed plugin does not alter existing slide objects.
CIF Viewer 1.1.0 is a separate download. It supports CIF import, per-element visibility, atoms, cell, camera, distance contacts and periodic coordination polyhedra. Authoring checkboxes select which controls remain visible on the slide. Choose the central element, neighbors, distance and polyhedron opacity. Polyhedra are geometric shells, not an inference of chemical bonds.
RU/EN interface, developer info, bundled offline license, update checks with automatic OS detection. Installation replaces application files, preserving user presentations and the browser profile. No tests, development tools or user presentations are installed.
The macOS app and installer are not Apple Developer signed or notarized. If macOS blocks launch, allow it in System Settings → Privacy & Security.
