The first release: your weekly Claude plan usage in the menu bar, against the share of the week gone.

What's in it

  • Menu bar: weekly usage · share of the week elapsed, coloured by how far you are from an even pace
  • Menu: pace in detail, weekly and session limits with reset times
  • Monthly spend from ccusage, with a per-month report window that expands into models; months are archived so they outlast Claude Code's log clean-up
  • Keep Mac awake while letting the displays sleep, remembered across launches
  • Figures stay visible while refreshing and across restarts; dimmed once they are stale
  • clu: the same figures in the terminal

Download

Download ClaudeUsage-1.0.zip, unzip, and move ClaudeUsage.app to Applications. Universal: Apple silicon and Intel, macOS 14 or later.

The app is not notarized: on the first launch, open System Settings → Privacy & Security and click Open Anyway (or run xattr -dr com.apple.quarantine /Applications/ClaudeUsage.app).
