terrahour 1.0.5
Eight new themes and a few map refinements.
- New themes: gruvbox, gruvbox-light, green, amber, grey, paper, vaporwave and synthwave (fourteen in total). Press T to cycle, or start with
--theme gruvbox. - Press N to add a shade over the night side of the map, in four strengths. Off by default;
--night-shade 0.5sets it from the command line. - Smaller maps carry fewer labels: names only on a medium map, and on a small one just the selected city is named, so the dots stay readable.
- The README says how to update.
terrahour 1.0.4
A tidier map in small windows.
- On a small map only the selected city is named; the other cities are coloured dots that match the table.
- On a medium map cities show their name without the zone line.
- The README now says what you get at each window size.
terrahour 1.0.3
Layout fixes for small, short and tall terminal windows. Thanks to the Reddit user who reported it with a screenshot.
- The map now stays visible in a standard 80x24 window; the city list scrolls to make room instead of leaving a blank gap.
- The top bar no longer overlaps in windows narrower than about 90 columns.
- The city table sits directly under the map, so tall windows no longer have a hole in the middle.
- The info line at the bottom is trimmed at whole items instead of being cut mid-word.
- City labels on the map no longer overlap on small maps.
- Resizing the window redraws immediately instead of up to a second later.
- The description no longer calls terrahour a meeting planner.
terrahour 1.0.2
Packaging housekeeping, no changes to the app itself.
- The licence and the bundled data folder are now declared the way current setuptools expects, so the package builds without warnings.
terrahour 1.0.1
Small fixes, no new features.
- The "Add city" box now gives the right number of built-in cities (about 12,000).
- The README shown on PyPI has the short install command:
pipx install terrahour.
terrahour 1.0.0

A world clock for the terminal, with a day and night map and a 24-hour timeline to find a time that works across time zones.
Install with pipx install terrahour, or try it without installing using uvx terrahour.
