ScriptPro 3.0 - Major Update

ScriptPro 3.0 is a complete modernization of the popular AutoCAD batch processing utility, bringing it from .NET Framework 3.5 (2013) to .NET 8.0 (2026).

  • 64-bit Native - Full support for 64-bit AutoCAD versions
  • AutoCAD 2021-2026 Support - Works with latest AutoCAD releases

  • Improved process ownership tracking
  • Better error handling and recovery
  • Consolidated build system with unified Build.ps1 script

For Standard Installation (Recommended)

ScriptProSetup.msi - Windows Installer package

  • Installs to Program Files
  • Creates Start Menu shortcuts
  • Requires .NET 8.0 Desktop Runtime

For Portable Use

ScriptPro-Portable.zip - No installation required

  • Extract and run
  • Requires .NET 8.0 Desktop Runtime

Note: AutoCAD 2025+ releases come with .NET 8.0 Desktop Runtime pre-installed. If you're using AutoCAD 2025 or 2026, you don't need to download .NET separately.

📋 System Requirements

  • Windows: 10/11 (64-bit)
  • AutoCAD: 2024, 2025, or 2026 (64-bit)
  • .NET: 8.0 Desktop Runtime (Download)

⚠️ Important Notes

  • This version only supports 64-bit AutoCAD (2021 and newer)
  • For older AutoCAD versions (2008-2020), use ScriptPro 2.0
  • Both AutoCAD and ScriptPro must run with same privileges (admin or non-admin)

🧪 Tested Scenarios

  1. ✅ CLI with specific AutoCAD executable + restart
    ScriptUI.exe "~\ScriptProPlus\TestFiles\xyz.bpl" run exit
  2. ✅ UI with specific AutoCAD executable + restart
  3. ✅ Attach to pre-existing AutoCAD instance
  4. ✅ Generic COM creation mode + restart
    ScriptUI.exe "~\ScriptProPlus\TestFiles\xyz_noexe.bpl" run exit
