ARES OS Beta Release v.2.7.0-beta.1

What's Changed

  • ARES now supports demo mode via a command line flag provided to the executable ("--demo")
  • In demo mode, ARES will pre-load various devices, including two simulated MFC's, a syringe pump and a tube furnace
  • Demo mode starts with a pre-built planner connected that provides a Hill Climbing Algorithm
  • Demo mode starts with a pre-build analyzer connected that provides an implementation of Arthur Sloan's python demo surface analyzer
  • A pre-filled execution template is provided with demo mode, and is ready to execute on startup
  • Demo mode disconnects the database from device, planner and analyzer management, making it a safe playground for getting familiar with ARES
