We are excited to announce the first official release of Archist! This version provides the essential scaffolding logic to kickstart any PHP project using Clean Architecture principles in seconds.

What's included in v1.0:

  • Automatic Scaffolding: Instantly generates the src/ directory with standardized layers (Domain, Application, Infrastructure, and Shared).

  • Public Entry Point: Creates a public/ folder with an initial index.php to keep your web root separate from your source code.

  • Git Compatibility: Automatically includes .gitkeep files in all subdirectories, ensuring your folder structure is preserved when committing to Git.

  • CLI Experience: A clean, emoji-free terminal output with a custom ASCII logo for a professional look.

  • Zero Dependencies: A standalone Bash script that works out of the box on Linux, macOS, and Windows (via WSL or Git Bash).
