Patch release rolling up dependency updates, compat fixes, and cleanup since v1.1.0.

Dependencies

  • Update all devDependencies, including Jest 30, ESLint 10, @rollup/plugin-commonjs 29, actions/checkout 6, markdownlint-cli 0.48, size-limit 12, rimraf 6.
  • Replace standard-version with the maintained commit-and-tag-version fork (resolves a transitive conventional-commits-filter peer-dep conflict with commitlint 20 that was breaking npm ci).
  • Drop @afixt/a11y-assert devDep. The package was unpublished from the npm registry, causing npm install to fail with 404s on transitive @afixt/afixt-tests.

Tests

  • Remove test/accessibility-e2e.test.js and test/accessibility-regression.test.js (fully dependent on the removed a11y-assert package).
  • Strip keyboard utility assertions from test/accessibility.test.js and test/banner.test.js.
  • Fix test/subdomain-sync.test.js under JSDOM 26, which makes window.location non-configurable. Introduce a currentHostname config override in src/js/subdomain-sync.js (used by isAllowedDomain and getSyncStatus) so tests can inject hostnames without mutating window.location.

Quality

  • Resolve all ESLint warnings (1 error + 116 warnings → 0). Disable no-console globally since the library uses console intentionally for [Cookie Banner] developer-facing logs; widen no-unused-vars to accept _-prefixed variables.
  • Fix real lint issues: no-prototype-builtins in banner.js, useless setter returns and empty catch binding in cookie-blocker.js, dead hasAnyTrackingConsent computation in handleConsentChange.
  • Run Prettier across the codebase.
