We're all about making your development experience as smooth and efficient as possible. That's why we've embraced the power of Dev Containers within Visual Studio Code!

What are Dev Containers?

Think of Dev Containers as pre-packaged development environments. They contain all the tools, libraries, and configurations you need to contribute to our code base immediately. No more time wasted setting up your machine or wrestling with dependencies!

Why We Love Dev Containers

  • Consistency: Everyone on the team works in identical environments, preventing those pesky "it works on my machine" issues.
  • Speed: Get started on projects lightning-fast; no lengthy setup is required.
  • Focus: Spend your energy on developing rather than wrangling your development tools.

Let us know if you have any questions – we're here to make your developer journey a breeze!

Kaggle dependency

To make your Kaggle experience even smoother, we've got a little setup requirement (downloading datasets):

  1. Create a "kaggle" folder in the root of your project.
  2. Place your "kaggle.json" file (containing your Kaggle API credentials) inside that folder.

That's it! Once you open the project in a Dev Container, you can interact with Kaggle datasets without extra configuration hassle.
