1.3.20
What's Changed
Added
- Added a Windows x64 compatibility installer (
*-win-x64-compat). Its Native Worker publishes as .NET 8 AOT with the baseline instruction set, so machines without SSE4.2 can start without lowering the official .NET 11 SKU. Compat builds do not use the official auto-update channel; download the matching installer from the GitHub Release.
Changed
- Consecutive read-only tools (file reads, directory listings, searches, memory lookups, web fetches, and status checks) now run concurrently up to the configured parallel-tool limit, instead of strictly one at a time. Writes, edits, and shell still run in the order listed.
- Tool results now keep up to 64K characters to match the advertised
bounded-preview-64kpolicy (was 16K). Read stops on a line boundary and tells the model the next offset, instead of cutting the middle of the file. - Session task tools (
TaskCreate/TaskGet/TaskUpdate/TaskList) share one schema across desktop, hosted sessions, and CLI, so hosted runs can express dependencies and theblocked/in_reviewstatuses the task board already shows. - Slow Worker RPC such as image generation now goes through the durable job client instead of an inline request that could time out.
