What's new since 26.2
Storia Cluster: one world on several servers
Several Storia servers can now run one world together. Each Storia Worker runs the part of the world
where its players are; Storia Relay stores the world and decides which worker runs which part; players move
between workers through Storia Proxy without a loading screen, keeping their inventory, advancements and
statistics.
- Players who come close are put on the same worker before they could see each other's chunks; busy workers hand
groups to quiet ones. Contraptions on a border between two parts are found and always run on one worker. - Time, weather, game rules, the scoreboard, maps, advancements and statistics are shared.
/stopon a worker moves its players to the others first. If the relay is away for a while, workers keep
running and keep their writes on disk until it is back. A player whose data cannot be read is not let in, so
their saved data is never overwritten.- A new worker needs no copy of the world: it fetches the world settings from the relay on first start.
- Checked with a real Minecraft 26.2 client: moves by balancing, by flying into another worker's area and by
/stopkeep the connection and the world on screen.

Seamless moves need Minecraft 26.1/26.2 clients. Plugin data is not shared between workers yet.
Busy spawns stay smooth: tick guard
When a region gets too slow, mobs in crowded chunks think less often (sensing, targets, brains); they still move,
path and collide every tick, and redstone is never touched. Players standing nearby are not limited. On a test
spawn with 1,400 mobs the region went from 50–55 ms to 32–35 ms per tick (TPS 20).
Player budget limits only fast movers
While an area is busy, only players moving faster than 12 blocks/s (elytra, ...) get a shorter view distance.
Players who stand, build or walk are never limited.
Removed: terrain-only offload
The old Storia Worker that only computed terrain noise for one server (offload.* in storia.yml,
/storia offload) was replaced by the cluster. An offload: section in storia.yml is ignored. The code is kept
in the archive/terrain-offload branch.
