Mana - MTG Archive 2.0.9 for Linux (64-bit).

⚠️ Beta release

This is the first Linux release of Mana - MTG Archive, and it ships as a beta.

Specifically, the camera card scanner could not be tested on Linux, as there is no webcam on the development machine. What has been verified here is the catalogue download, prices and the Google Drive backup, but testing on this platform has been less thorough than on Android or Windows.

If the scanner fails for you — or works — please say so in this repository's issues or at apgmdev@gmail.com, mentioning your distribution and camera model. That is what will let the next release ship without this warning.

What to download

  • .deb — Debian, Ubuntu, Linux Mint and derivatives. Installs into your applications menu.
  • .tar.gz — portable build for any other distribution (Fedora, openSUSE, Arch…). Needs neither administrator rights nor installation.

Installing

.deb package:

sudo dpkg -i mana-mtg-archive_2.0.9_amd64.deb

Portable build:

tar xzf mana-mtg-archive-2.0.9-linux-x64.tar.gz
cd mana-mtg-archive-2.0.9-linux-x64
"./bin/Mana - MTG Archive"

Requirements

  • x86-64 (amd64) architecture. There is no ARM build.
  • glibc 2.29 or newer: Ubuntu 20.04, Debian 11, Fedora 30 and anything more recent.
  • Java is not required: the package bundles its own runtime.

Your collection lives in ~/.local/share/manamtgarchive-kmp and is left untouched when you update.
