Mana - MTG Archive 2.1.0 for Linux (beta)
Pre-releaseMana - MTG Archive 2.1.0 for Linux (64-bit).
What's new in 2.1.0
The card scanner's side panel now works as a single screen:
- Every scanned card shows its full edition — set symbol, code, collector number and name — so reprints are no longer a guess.
- Change the quantity, mark a copy as foil or undo the add without leaving the camera.
- Wrong edition? Click it and pick the right version; the copy already added is corrected on the spot.
- A sound cue when a card is added, so you can keep your eyes on the cards instead of the screen (Settings → Scanner).
- Choose which webcam to use when the computer has more than one: each camera is shown with a still of what it is currently seeing, plus its name where the system reports one.
- The width of the side panel is now adjustable (Settings → Scanner).
⚠️ Beta release
Mana - MTG Archive for Linux still ships as a beta.
Specifically, the camera card scanner could not be tested on Linux, as there is no webcam on the development machine. The scanner panel above was tested on Windows with a virtual camera; on Linux what has been verified is the catalogue download, prices and the Google Drive backup.
If the scanner fails for you — or works — please say so in this repository's issues or at apgmdev@gmail.com, mentioning your distribution and camera model. That is what will let the next release ship without this warning.
