VaultSync 1.8.3 continues the Chronicle series by introducing one of the most requested capabilities for understanding backup history: Snapshot Compare.
Instead of simply showing that backups exist, VaultSync can now help explain what changed between them.
Snapshot Compare
Snapshot Compare allows any two restore points from the same project to be compared.
Features include:
- Added, modified, deleted and unchanged file summaries
- Changed-path hotspots
- Mass-deletion detection
- Storage growth indicators
- High-churn analysis
- Searchable changed-file workspace
- Line-by-line text comparison for supported files
- Expandable folder navigation
- Previous / next changed-file navigation
- Automatic restore-point suggestions
Large comparisons are presented using compact Git-style change groups, collapsing unchanged sections while highlighting additions and deletions.
Unsupported content such as encrypted archives, binary files or unavailable snapshots safely falls back to metadata-only information.
Avalonia 12 Migration
VaultSync now runs on Avalonia 12.1.
