Let the app update your mods for you
Auto-update on launch is a new toggle in the My Mods toolbar, off until you turn it on. With it on, Better Trove Tools checks your mods in the background every time it starts and installs whatever is waiting — Mods Hub mods stay on the variant you picked, everything else comes from Trovesaurus. When it finishes you get a toast telling you how many mods it updated, and the list refreshes itself.
Because those updates happen unattended, the toggle asks before it turns on: the prompt spells out that mods will update every time you open the app without asking again, and it names the locked mods it will never touch. Locks work exactly as they did — a pinned mod is skipped by the launch pass the same way it is skipped by Update All, and that is enforced in the backend, not just in the interface. Turning the toggle back off is instant and asks nothing.
If nothing needs updating, or the app can't reach the network, launch is unaffected — you just see no toast.
