HomeVault v1.1.0-beta

Beta notice: Core functionality is stable. The new launcher and system tray features are functional but still being refined.

What is new in v1.1.0

  • GUI Launcher — Windows launcher application with service status window
  • System Tray — HomeVault runs silently in the background from the system tray
  • One-click start — Double-click HomeVault.bat to start Flask, Nginx, IP watcher, and mDNS
  • Clean shutdown — Right-click tray icon to stop all services
  • Start with Windows — Toggle autostart from the tray menu (registry-based)
  • Single instance — Running launcher twice opens your browser instead of duplicating
  • No cmd flashes — All background processes run silently
  • Smart startup — Checks for stale processes, fixes Nginx permissions automatically

Everything from v1.0.0 is included.

For the most stable experience, use v1.0.0.
