  • Restore Fahrenheit as the native unit for thermostat climate and temperature sensor values.
  • Use a 1 degree Fahrenheit target step and the 60-90 degree Fahrenheit range.
  • Keep Honeywell, SmartRent transport, and Home Assistant on the same scale to avoid false abnormal-temperature maintenance requests.
  • Update installation and verification guidance for the end-to-end Fahrenheit setup.

Installation

Set both the physical thermostat and Home Assistant system temperature unit to Fahrenheit, install or update the integration through HACS, and restart Home Assistant.
