Download an archive and its matching checksum file, then verify before extracting:
sha256sum --check gopulse_v0.1.0-alpha.1_linux_amd64.tar.gz.sha256
tar -xzf gopulse_v0.1.0-alpha.1_linux_amd64.tar.gz
cd gopulse_v0.1.0-alpha.1_linux_amd64
./gopulse --versionEach archive includes the binary, configuration example, documentation and license notices. Checksums detect download changes; they are not independent publisher signatures.
Read the installation and upgrade guide before starting. Generate and preserve your own random JWT secret, verify SSH host keys, complete initial administrator setup locally, and use HTTPS for remote access. There are no default credentials.
Verification and security maintenance
This revision passed Go and frontend tests, race detection, vulnerability and source/full-history secret scans. CI verifies Linux packages, checksums and native/container startup. OpenTelemetry is updated to 1.45.0 to address GHSA-8wmf-6v46-5gfg. GitHub secret scanning, push protection, dependency security updates and private vulnerability reporting are enabled.
Existing contributors: repository history was rewritten to remove previously exposed credentials, old local configuration and flagged infrastructure screenshots. Clone the cleaned repository again or carefully migrate local work without merging old history. The owner confirmed rotation and invalidation of the exposed secrets.
Evaluation scope
Linux is the deployment target; macOS supports source development. Run one control-plane process per state directory. Browser libraries currently require CDN access. Local infrastructure state and configuration exports contain sensitive data without application-level encryption; use private permissions, encrypted storage and protected backups. Write permissions allow privileged host operations.
Remote integrations need broader disposable-host verification. This alpha carries no production-readiness, fleet-capacity or availability guarantee. See SECURITY.md, the changelog and the roadmap.
Feedback, reproducible bug reports and contributions are welcome.
