  • The pane toolbar vanished for good below about 820 pt of window width — Up, the view-mode buttons, hidden files, find, copy path, pin, new folder and terminal all went, and widening the window did not bring them back. The bar scrolls now, so every button is reachable at any width. Introduced in 1.0.9.
  • The breadcrumb cut the tail off a deep path, hiding the folder you were actually in. It scrolls to the current folder.
  • The sidebar notices volumes as they mount, unmount and are renamed. Mounting a disk image put nothing in the sidebar until the next launch, which made the new eject button hard to reach.
  • Clicking the Dock icon with no window open makes one. Since 1.0.9 leaves the app running after ⌘W, there was no way back except ⌘N.
