Install

1. Download pdf-toolkit-setup-windows-x64.exe for the normal install experience.
2. Run the installer and launch PDF Toolkit from Start Menu.
3. Open Start Here and choose a template such as Merge Invoice Packet or Watch Incoming Folder.
4. If you prefer a portable copy, download pdf-toolkit-windows-x64.zip instead.

Windows note

• Windows is the supported platform for this release.
• The installer is unsigned, so SmartScreen may show a warning.
• The portable ZIP remains available if you prefer not to install.
• The app is offline-first and does not include auto-update behavior in this release.

OCR note

OCR is not bundled in the default public release yet. Core merge, split, preview, extraction, metadata, and automation workflows are still available without extra setup.

LLM note

LLM-ready extraction is built in. OpenAI-powered analysis remains optional and requires OPENAI_API_KEY.
