Release list
AccessSlice 1.0.1
A small update that makes the Creality instructions clearer.
What changed
- Clearer setup wizard text for Creality printers. The wizard said that "every new job starts this same way" in Creality Print, which could be read as if prints had to be sent from Creality Print too. That was never the case. The page now says plainly that only creating the project happens in Creality Print (its engine cannot turn a model file into a project by itself). Slicing, sending the print straight to the printer over your network, and following and controlling the printer always happen in AccessSlice.
- The README says the same, in "A print job, step by step" and under "What each printer brand needs", Creality.
Nothing else changed. Your settings are kept when you install over 1.0.0.
Download and install
- Download AccessSlice-Setup-1.0.1.exe below, under Assets.
- Run it and press Next through the installer. It installs over 1.0.0; no need to uninstall first.
- Windows may say "Windows protected your PC", because the installer is not code-signed yet. Choose More info, then Run anyway.

Needs Windows 10 or 11 (64-bit) and your printer's slicer: Bambu Studio, PrusaSlicer, Creality Print, OrcaSlicer or Anycubic Slicer Next.
Tested printers
- Bambu Lab X1 Carbon (Bambu Studio)
- Bambu Lab H2C (Bambu Studio)
- Prusa Core One (PrusaSlicer, PrusaLink)
- Creality K2 Plus (Creality Print)
Other Bambu Lab printers, Prusa printers with PrusaLink and Creality printers on Creality OS are expected to work but have not been tested yet. The README has the full list. Reports either way are welcome on the Issues page.
What is in it
- A setup wizard: choose your printer, then one step per page - the slicer, the printer's connection, a first project.
- Every slicer setting as a labelled field, every result spoken, backups and verification on every save.
- Slicing with your slicer's own engine, a spoken slice report and a layer-by-layer preview.
- Sending straight to Prusa and Creality printers over your network, following the print aloud, and controlling the printer; Bambu Lab printers send through Bambu Studio's own send window.
