First release of Voice Memos, a voice recorder for Android with the one-screen flow of the iOS app.

Highlights

• One list, inline player. Tap a recording to unfold the player right in the row: scrub the waveform, skip 15 seconds, change speed from 0.5× to 2×.
• Record dock. Live waveform and a timer to the hundredth of a second. Recording keeps going in the background.
• Trim editor. Drag the yellow handles, then trim or delete. The result is always saved as a new recording, the original is never touched.
• Recently Deleted. Deleted recordings stay recoverable for 30 days.
• Formats. AAC (M4A), AMR-NB, AMR-WB and Opus, with stereo, skip silence and Bluetooth microphone options.
• Home screen widgets, light and dark appearance, and an interface in English, 繁體中文 and 简体中文.

Private by design

No ads, no trackers, no analytics, and no internet permission at all. No Google Play Services either: the optional location tag uses Android's built-in location.
