EL2 Essentials Pack v1.0.0

A small bundle of mods that smooth out some of the rough edges in Endless Legend 2 without changing what the game fundamentally is.

This is basically the setup I ended up wanting myself after a bunch of runs.

📦 Includes

WorldGen
Makes world generation more varied, slightly increases map size, and ensures water remains after the final monsoon.
(Works best on larger maps)

BulkTrade
Adds proper bulk trading:

• Shift + Click → buy/sell 10x
• Ctrl + Click → buy/sell 50x

SyntheticHarmony
Helps AI factions stay competitive by stabilizing approval:

• +25 approval at game start
• +5 approval every 10 turns

The AI is pretty bad at managing approval right now, so this helps it not completely fall apart midgame.

🎯 What this pack aims to do

• More interesting maps
• Less annoying trading
• AI that doesn’t collapse on its own

Nothing here is meant to overhaul the game — just make it play better.

📥 Installation

1. Install BepInEx 5.x (Windows x64)
   https://github.com/BepInEx/BepInEx/releases

2. Extract this zip into your Endless Legend 2 folder
   (same place as ENDLESS Legend 2.exe)

3. Launch the game

• Mods are independent but designed to work well together
• Safe to remove individually if you only want parts of the pack

Quest Recovery – v1.1.0

Quest Recovery is a small single-player recovery mod for Endless Legend 2.

It provides an in-game button that allows you to manually complete the current step of a stuck major faction quest so the quest chain can continue.

Changes in v1.1.0

• Quest completion now attempts to finalize quest rewards correctly
  • This includes most common rewards such as resources, items, units, faction traits, and councilors

• Renamed the action button from Skip Quest to Complete Quest
• Improved internal safety checks to prevent repeated triggers

Added

• Optional Details / Quest Goals view for debugging and bug reporting
  • Disabled by default
  • Shows raw quest goal and prerequisite information
  • Includes a copy-to-clipboard button

Notes

• Single-player only
• No automation or save-file editing
• The Details view is optional and not required for normal usage
