Gazer 0.5.1 beta

Unsigned Windows MSI for testers (code signing skipped).

Highlights since 0.5.0 beta

  • qwerty_main: new keyboard placed on the desktop work area; unused boards dropped.
  • Gaze follow profile: one Slow/Sticky/Smooth/Snappy control on pointer timing, applied to the live lens, gaze-to-mouse, reticle, dwell-move cursor, mag-pick, foresight, and slider scrub. Foresight toggle on the assist board.
  • Z-order: HWND band stays TOPMOST; OverlayStackWatch reasserts when other apps cover Gazer. Each page's grids and cells stay together so a buried cell cannot dwell-forward.
  • Overlay settings: LTS and ComboMouse combined on the Overlay settings page. ComboMouse radii/colors are settings.
  • Dwell-move: drop last-gaze warp; zoom 0 arms dwell-move. mouseMoveToGaze aliases mouseDwellMove.
  • Paint: pie dwell progress (progressColor); keyboard character keys use textStyle=key.
  • Rename: mouseMoveForesightDoubleZoom to mouseMoveForesightSecondZoom.

Install

  • Double-click Gazer-0.5.1-beta.msi, or
  • msiexec /i Gazer-0.5.1-beta.msi
  • Quiet: msiexec /i Gazer-0.5.1-beta.msi /qn

Uninstall

  • Apps & features, or msiexec /x Gazer-0.5.1-beta.msi

Notes

  • Installs to Program Files\Gazer\ with Start Menu + desktop shortcuts
  • Layouts/models ship under resources\; settings stay in %AppData%\Gazer
  • Mouse tracker works without hardware; Tobii Eye Tracker 5 needs Tobii drivers (MSI includes tobii_stream_engine.dll)
  • ProductVersion is now 0.5.1; this MSI upgrades earlier 0.5.0 betas
  • SHA256: ADDF1DBAC567B46D89D1AC86B9A59D1D7875B99492CC63EB7F8E6DB26708C184 (26.3 MB)
