Base game's mail autocomplete broken in 12.x

I'm using the 20260310 version of Bulk Mail.

If you have two characters with similar names like Albert and Alfred you cannot easily address mail to Alfred after installing BulkMail.

Without BulkMail the behavior of the "To" Fileld is:

• Typing "A" autocompletes Albert with "lbert" highlighted.
• Typing "l" results in "Al" with "bert" highlighted.
• Typing "f" changes the the to box to "Alf" with "red" highlighted.

With Bulk Mail installed:

• Typing "A" autocompletes Albert, the cursor is between the A and l but nothing is highlighted
• Typing "l" results in Allbert
