Release list
Sluice 1.0.0
Sluice sorts a pile of photos into a dated library, and helps you throw out the junk. Desktop app for Windows, macOS and Linux, with a command-line interface alongside it for scripting and for driving it from an AI agent.
First public release. Nothing to migrate from - see the README for what it does, install and configuration, and the safety model.
Installing
- Windows:
sluice.exe, a self-installing bootstrapper. - macOS:
sluice-1.0.0-mac-aarch64.zip(Apple Silicon) orsluice-1.0.0-mac-amd64.zip(Intel). Unzip and drag the app to Applications. - Linux:
sluice_1.0.0_amd64.deborsluice_1.0.0_arm64.debfor Debian- and Ubuntu-based distributions.sluice-1.0.0-linux-amd64.tar.gz/sluice-1.0.0-linux-aarch64.tar.gzfor a portable install elsewhere.
Installed copies update themselves. The command line ships inside every install - sluice --help once it's on your PATH.
Judging your photos
Sluice never judges a photo itself - you choose what does. An agent you already run yourself (sluice skill prints ready-to-save instructions), or a vision API called from inside the app. Both are covered in the README's provider caveats.
License
AGPLv3, with a narrow exception for vision-provider plugins. Packaged with Hydraulic Conveyor, free for open-source projects.
