Improved

  • On iOS: For improved accessibility, Drop-in now appears in a dedicated window on top of your app
    content instead of using FlutterViewController. The behavior of appearing on top of your app
    remains unchanged. For shoppers that use Full Keyboard Access, the focus now stays inside the
    native payment interface.

  • (Internal change) For Drop-in on iOS: The internal delegates are now simpler to maintain:

    • Stored payment method deletion uses a single delegate instead of duplicated delegates.
    • The delegate implementations are in separate files.

Changed

  • On Android: The default AdyenCheckout theme now inherits directly from the Adyen theme,
    instead of from the generic AppTheme style. Android merges resources from every dependency, so
    an AppTheme style from an unrelated dependency could replace the Adyen theme and stop the
    payment form from rendering. If you customize Drop-in through AppTheme, you
    must move those attributes to an AdyenCheckout style in your app resources.
