AegisVM Version 3

Changes since Version 2:

New features:

  • MainModule wrapper added to the release model, enabling require(115970020351857) directly from the Roblox Creator Store
  • getfenv and setfenv globals added as sandbox-safe proxies (operate on the AegisVM scope chain, never expose the host Lua environment)
  • buffer library added (full Roblox buffer API was previously missing entirely)
  • newproxy global forwarded into the sandbox
  • WebRbxmParser base URL moved to Constants.CONVERT_BASE_URL for a single source of truth
  • Libraries module and WebRbxmParser path reorganised; Aegis.Libraries exposed on the public API
  • TASKS.md and handoff.md added for multi-agent coordination
  • Repository migrated to AegisLua/AegisVM organisation

Bug fixes:

  • table.sort now wraps interpreter closure comparators so native table.sort accepts them
  • table.foreach and table.foreachi added as Lua 5.1 compat shims with closure support
  • task.spawn, task.defer, and task.delay now wrap interpreter closures before passing to the Roblox scheduler
  • debug.getlocal, setlocal, getupvalue, setupvalue, and sethook removed (exposed host Lua call stack internals)
  • debug.getfenv and debug.setfenv proxied to sandbox-safe Aegis equivalents
  • __tostring metamethod priority on closures corrected
  • coroutine.create and coroutine.wrap now accept interpreter closures

The module is available on the Roblox Creator Store (asset 115970020351857)
and via require(115970020351857).
