What this release marks
Current product is the Omni / council / memory local AI harness (python3 verantyx.py), not the Claude-Code-era CLI packaging.
- Router: classify-only 0.5B-class resident brain
- Council: vector deliberation internals
- Memory: eternal / cross-restart memory paths

Legacy tags
Older tags (v2.4.x, v1.x, v0.2.0-alpha, etc.) may disagree with README on main. Prefer this tree and docs/RELEASES.md.

- MIT for repository code
- Model weights are separate (not covered by the MIT grant)

This is an alpha marker for the Omni line. No invented benchmarks in these notes.
